One of the world’s most comprehensive libraries of nerdy media!
The bounds of nerdy media are endless, but we’ve worked hard to make sure we’ve covered the most popular and requested titles as well as a broad selection across time in every genre. Our primary focuses are on videogames and comic books – with videogames available for on location rental and the comic archives available for local research.
In some videogame genres – like shmups and roguelikes – we have many rare and limited release titles available. We also have many physical collections and remasters of retro media available for easy play on modern consoles like the Nintendo Switch.
You may also browse our extensive digital library while you are at our NYC location. We have Evercade/emulator carts or chip mods in most retro consoles, so if you have a non-working original cartridge or other legally allowed need, we can quickly make it possible to play almost every title that exists from the original Famicom to the Xbox era. If you don’t see something in our collections, just ask! We often research and find new collection items if there is a need and are happy to do that work for you.
The heart of our comic collection is a complete Marvel Omnibus collection for their mainstream universe and ultimate universe. This collection 6 full length bookshelves we keep organized in a special in-house researched ‘reading order’. We also have a large collection of DC Omnibus books and almost every DC Absolute release, a complete Vertigo trade paperback and hardcover collection, a complete DC Wildstorm and America’s Best Comics collection, and many DC Elseworlds titles. Additionally we have several full length shelves of independent and self contained titles, and a large selection of Manga.
Additional books include game guides and art books, videogame magazines, sci-fi/fantasy novels and a variety of others. We have a complete Magic The Gathering Tie-In novel collection.
Our tabletop collection includes a huge array of Magic: The Gathering products, including booster boxes from decades of publication we keep for drafting, almost every pre-constructed deck they have ever released, and much more – an excellent resource for game designers or professional players. We have some other tabletop games and materials as well.
Finally we have a small selection of VHS/DVDs, music albums and other misc. material.
