DC Comics – Vertigo / “DC Dark”

There’s a long history of horror and dark magic in the DC Universe, where their anthology titles like House of Mystery eventually gave way to complex adult focused titles like Sandman, Swamp Thing and Hellblazer. At one point, the “Vertigo” titles like Sandman or Lucifer were editorially separated from the mainstream DC universe, but have deep roots to titles like Deadman or the Phantom Stranger, and later were folded again into DC proper for series like Justice League Dark. For our purposes, we’ve grouped all of these together, in one spooky mystical collection. (Some titles, like Animal Man, may be listed once on the main page and another time here.)
